Stephanie Lowe, Ph.D.

As a Christian in the science field, my goal for tutoring students in the sciences is to show them how all aspects of creation point to an omniscient Creator. Understanding God’s creation better through the formal study of biology and chemistry allows us to better worship Him for His exquisite design of the universe and all that is in it.

Bio

I have a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Auburn University and a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the Medical University of South Carolina.  Following graduate school, I was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of New Mexico and then at the University of Central Florida.  I worked as a Senior Scientist at the Midwest Research Institute in Palm Bay, Florida for six years before leaving my career to homeschool my children.  Homeschooling these last nine years has been the most rewarding and important work I’ve done.  My husband, children, and I are members of First Baptist Church of Titusville and I’m excited to join the wonderful team of teachers at TFAI.
