Joy Blanton
I wanted to join TFAI to grow alongside a community of believers who see creativity as a form of worship. I am eager to use my artistic gifts to reflect the beauty of God’s character, share His truth, and encourage others through every story I tell and every piece I create.
Bio
I have been captivated by fiber arts since I was a very young child. I grew up watching my mom knit, crochet, embroider, cross-stitch, and sew clothes. There is something very magical and meaningful about making items from scratch. For me, fiber art is a tangible way to celebrate the Master Weaver. Just as He knits us together and integrates every detail of our lives into a grander tapestry, I love using my hands to create works that reflect His patience, complexity, and grace.
Hey! Nice to meet you all! Here are some fun facts about me:

I love the fact that TFAI is a support to homeschool families. Having been homeschooled my entire life and having been homeschooling my sons for the last 9 years, I know how huge this support system is.

I love teaching! Not only have I had the opportunity to teach Fiber Arts throughout the years, but I have had the opportunity to teach other skills. I am SO excited to be a part of TFAI!
