This class is open to any student aged 10 - 18 regardless of musical experience. Students will learnabout all the instruments of the concert band. Parents will be informed about how to rent(preferred) or purchase an instrument of the student's choice. Using a method book, the class willlearn step by step, music reading, music writing and performing. There will be a free performance for the public at the end of each semester.

This class has proven they acquired skills to play more
advanced music than Beginning Band. Significant daily practice time will be expected. New students may enter this class only if they can show that they are on level with the rest ofthe class. Students will only be accepted into this class by teacher approval. There will be a freeperformance for the public at the end of each semester.
