When I was in kindergarten, I decided that my dream job was to be a “mommy and a teacher.” Fast forward an undisclosed number of years, and I’m a mom to four, living the homeschool dream for the past 13 years. Homeschooling has been such a blessing to our family - it has given us the gift of time together and helped us learn (and relearn) academic, spiritual, and relational lessons that have drawn us closer to each other and to the Lord.

I have a high schooler, a middle schooler, an elementary student, and a preschooler at home. TFAI is truly a special place that has ways for all of them to be involoved in an environment that is safe and fun and encourages them to use the creativity to glorify God. I’m thankful for the teachers at TFAI who use their ablilities to help my kids grow in the arts.

 

And while I personally have the artistic talents of a thumbtack, I am pretty handy with a spreadsheet and a calendar and I’ve always enjoyed alphabetizing and organizing. As the adminstation assistant, I’m hoping to help keep things on track as TFAI continues to grow. I know how important a supportive and encouraging community is for homeschooling families, and it is my goal to help the famiies and teacher thrive at TFAI.
